Glow Worm & Kayak Tour

Relax upon arrival with tea, coffee and delicious home made baking followed by canapes for two by the outside fire later in the evening. The rolling hills of Pahoia and sparkling Pacific Ocean provide the perfect backdrop for a relaxed evening after travelling. 

Dinner is a gourmet three-course meal, served in our formal dining room or perhaps al fresco on the balcony if you would prefer. Snuggle up after your meal by the inside fire place with your significant other, before retiring to your suite. 

A gourmet breakfast and fresh coffee will greet you each morning. Perhaps you may then like to venture out onto the farm to explore and feed the animals fruit and vegetables provided by our gracious host Kay.

The rest of the day is all yours! Explore our stunning region as you wish! An afternoon at Mount Maunganui for a walk, swim and fish and chips at Pilot Bay is always time well spent. Or perhaps visiting some historic sites, a spot of shopping at lunch in downtown Tauranga sounds nice. We recommend Harbourside a beautiful waterfront restaurant surrounded by grizzly Pohutukawa leaning out over the ocean. 

Return to The French Country House for an early light dinner platter for two before being collected by your tour guide at 6.20pm. You will be transported to Lake McLaren for an outstanding experience, kayaking through caves to view glow worms. During your tour you will enjoy, hot chocolate, tea, New Zealand wine and snacks courtesy of Waimarino tours.
